Met parking what should I do

hi,
I received a letter from met after parking in McDonald's. My parents had received one a few years back and told me to ignore them. after doing so I went a researched it myself, and then found out that it had changed. And I shouldn't have ignored it really.
Now I'm am on the final warning stage. I did send an appeal letter even though it was late, and I asked for a Popla code, even though I know I probably won't get one.
after researching around on here, I know that I can send a late letter by being very stern.
and if not complain to the BPA
but how far is it likely to get. should I just ignore them, are MET likely to take people to court?

Don't be daft. As you have now appealed, wait and see what reply you get, maybe you will get a POPLA code, if not you can ignore them, not much has changed. We only advise people to appeal against a firm like MET because we ALWAYS win at POPLA against them. MET do not do court, as a rule, NO. And you appear not to have Googled ' MET McDonalds ' if you didn't find this:

What happened when you complained then, to the McDonalds manager, bearing in mind they can cancel these?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I didn't even try to cancel it. would it be a good idea to try and get MacDonalds to cancel it still, even through its been a while.
okay I shall await my response about popla. if they reject should I still ignore them? I'll send them another stern but polite letter asking for my popla number.
and thank you for the help0 -
