Parking Eye in Scotland

I was parked in a PE car park this week, from 11am Wednesday to 9.30am this morning. (Aberdeen Marriott Hotel). I registered my vehicle on arrival so I shouldn't be the joyous recipient of a Xmas card from them.
When checking out the girl on the desk asked if I needed any transportation (e.g. taxi to the airport). I said I had my car. She asked if I had registered it and I said Yes. I then went on to explain how PE don't actually manage the car park, just record (possibly badly) how long any vehicle has been on site. I also explained that (in Scotland) any invoice from PE would go to the registered keeper, but the RK has no liability so can simply file it away and forget about it, and PE can do nothing about it. (Other than court action, which I also explained PE couldn't really do unless their contract with Marriott provides that permission - which is very unlikely).
So nothing really to see here - just a minor life event, and confirmation that I've done a little spread further the Good Word.
