Divorce Question - Who gets what

Hi Guys, Need some advice for a very close friend. Him and his wife are getting divorced and wanted to know about his house, basically he inherited his house from his parents (who have both passed away) he met this girl and they got married but he never put her name on the house but they both lived there but she never paid…

I think in the circumstances that it is very unlikely she would be entitled to as much as 50%, but she would be entitled to something.

Was she renting before they got married? IS she working? One relevant factor is what her needs are - as a minimum she's likely to need enough for a deposit, moving costs and may be an initial couple of months rent - up to 6 months worth if she isn't working .
