    You're joking right?

You want help but come on without offering any real information about your situation or without doing any of your own research?

You need to read the 'NEWBIES' sticky threat at the top of the parking board which tells you exactly what you need to do.

Be prepared to put some work in though.

Hi, recieved a letter today with £100 fine for unauthorised parking, what can I do please?
I think you must be a PPC stooge, no-one can come here and not read any top threads, posting a one-liner without reading a single thread. This is a waste of time - either that or you need to get back and read the NEWBIES thread which was telling you what to do, where to read, all along. Please don't ask for a link to a sticky thread; we never link the top threads, they are at the top and the main forum is one click away. My signature even tells you where.

And you need to see which type of sign you have:

If you are a genuine poster with a G24 'ticket' post and tell us which type of sign is 'your' sign. You can see the difference there, easy to compare.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

    Wow!!!! Thanks for the help
    Hope that's a genuine thank you. :)

So you understand how things are from the regular's point of view - bearing in mind that we all give up our time voluntarily to help people out.

For some time now we have had numerous enquiries every day all of which ask the same basic questions - in fact much the same as yours (although your post is remarkably brief and devoid of anything that we might be able to go on - other than the name of the issuer). This necessitates that we repeat ourselves many, many times and that is the reason why the Newbies thread was created and why it is entitled - **NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

Please have a read through - you will need to devote a little bit of time to it. But hey? This is about self-help, isn't it? There is a lot of information to be put over but don't be put off. Unfortunately the need to use forum formatting means that the layout isn't always ideal but everything you need to know is there together with the tools you need to deal with the situation.

If, having read through the above thread, come back and ask specific questions but unfortunately we do not have the time or resources to lead every potential poster by the hand. If you have received or do receive a County Court claim or a Letter Before Action/Letter Before County Court then let us know right away and we will help you. That having been said G24 are one of the least litigious private parking companies so I would consider your chances of doing so very unlikely.

Lastly, and to set you off in the right direction what you have is not a fine and is essentially just an offer to settle a claim G24 assert that they have against you. It does not have any statutory basis - despite what they may claim. :)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I suggest that, if you are as clueless as you seem to be, you pay the bloody thing.
