Cancelled flight

Way back on June 2009 my flight from Glasgow to Dubai was cancelled due to a fault on the plane. We sat all afternoon and into the evening before they shuttled us to a local hotel. No food, nothing.

First food we got was breakfast in the morning.

Got on the plane the following day around 19 hours delays landed in Bangkok where we were shuffled on to a Thai air plane, disgusting compared to Emirates.

Got off the plane in Bangkok, suit cases missing and basically 12 hours with no case to boot!

Now the issues I have. My emails relating to the flight are long gone. I have a record in the emirates airmile system though.

I complained at the time and was given 25000 airmiles, useless to everyone unless you do a lot of travelling. They have since expired and I got no use for them :(

Where do I stand? This is all the details I have to hand?

for the cancelled flight/delay to your final destination start here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4896454 (the last link should provide all the information you need)
It will be important not to muddle things with multiple issues
    Cancellation/delay - EU Compensation €600
no food provided - this should have been part of "duty of care" and should be reimbursed if you paid out for food if you send receipts. If you did not buy anything then there is nothing to reclaim
Cases delayed - completely separate, should have been dealt with at the time with reimbursement for essential items (although there may not have been anything to buy if 12 hours)

Unfortunately I don't have the details of the flight :( It was so long ago. I do have the airmiles that were given to me and also the day of the connecting flight in Dubai though.

All the emails for this incident are long gone.

After 2.5 days of travelling, believe me when I say I needed a wash and clean clothing. So the loss of the case was drastic and I had no idea if it would even appear at all.

Then you're going to have to find them somehow. Try asking Emirates. No details = no claim.

Back then there was only one direct flight a day from Glasgow to Dubai. It was Emirates Flight No. EK28.

Use that to help track down the data on flightstats.
