Left bad review of letting agent - now being harassed

I am surprised they are worried about a bad review.

Seems to be standard for anyone who has ever dealt with a letting agent.Been away for a while.0 -
It's very common here and elsewhere for letting agents to get a bad rap when it's really the landlord who has been at fault. There's no end of tenants referring to "my letting agent" when they have been no such thing. Perhaps that's why this particular agent has been so persistent?0

Cruddy small business go beserk when people leave them bad reviews on the internet. I remember that programme about Tripadvisor with all the hoteliers raging about their Fawlty Towers style reviews, none of them appearing to make the link with providing better service to get better feedback.
As long as the review is factual I would be inclined to leave it. Depends how you feel about bullying.
JJLandlord would like you to take it down because the idea in general that an unworthy tenant would dare to oppose any part of the UK's useless private letting industry is anathema to him. But his is only one opinion.0 -
Bit more specific, threatening some with violence is a crime ( not sure what damage has been done, but hey it's England...)
Threatening someone with court action is not a crime.
Actually, it can constitute harassment if it meets the PHA criteria.

Sorry for never replying to this thread! Thank you for all your comments.
In the end we decided to have a easy life and simply deleted the review. We were annoyed that they essentially bullied us into doing this, but all the talk of libel etc. freaked us out! We just didn't want the hassle of it and decided to let it go.
Secretly just hoping some sort of karma may materialise one day..!0
