Capita assessment

I am waiting for an assessment by Capita and have had it cancelled for the fifth time - this time an hour before they were supposed to arrive!
Has anyone else had this happen? I was a bit put out this time as I got a phone call cancellingat 9am when they were supposed to arrive at 10.15 and had got myself really worked up. It seems that they are really disorganised

This isn't the first time I have heard of multiple cancellations from Capita. You can complain to DWP and Capita and also let your MP know - but I don't hold out much hope of that changing anything!0

They are supposed to be coming in the morning but I've got to the stage where I'm expecting another cancellation. Watch this space.0

My wife's Capita experience is similar, first appointment at their offices they had no record of an appointment even though we had an appointment letter so not seen, my wife had such a difficult time just getting and being there they agreed a home visit, this happened several weeks later and then several weeks later they phoned her and said they had lost the medical they carried out ! At least they carried out the next one within 4 weeks but no decision yet from the DWP, timescale 8 months and still growing.0

Hi, in 2008/09 i had my assessment for DLA cancelled four times, seems like not much has changed then !0 -
My wife had her award today, standard rate on mobility and daily living, relieved she is, awarded for 3 years, long time to get an answer though.0
