  • I've now seen a copy of the UKPC appeal rejection letter, and a second Zenith collections letter, so I've updated my post 7 above - read and enjoy :rotfl:.

  • Happy to help, knowing that we've saved another victim from UKPC is all the thanks that's needed. Be sure to spread the word about the great parking scam to your friends family and colleagues.

Will do mate. Have told a few people already. Was talking about it last weekend with a few mates and one of their sisters had got one the day after me in Boucher Road as well. He let her know she didn't have to pay it and to just ignore the clowns.

Excellent, tell them to read this thread, they'll be able to play threatogramme bingo with all the junkmail.

Here is another thread to show just empty all the UKPC/Debt Recovery Plus/Zenith Collections threats really are:

  • I was worried about a few parking tickets that I got from a PPC and a few letters that I received from "TNC parking" but this forum has put my mind at ease! It also gave me a good laugh too, Thanks guys!

I've learned that UKPC have started sending their joke "Small Claims Solicitors" letter to their potential victims in N. Ireland, but still with all the English/Welsh legal terms. They can't even be bothered to research that there is no such thing as a County Court Judgement, Bailiff or High Court Enforcement Officer in NI.

Yet another shameful attempt to frighten people out of their money.

Anyway, I've updated my post #7 in this thread accordingly, well they are clowns, so you've got to laugh.

SevenTowers, thanks for that post, wished i had searched a bit more before reading newbies section, watching youtube, scrolling though england wales process, before finding this brilliant post.

your post made me laugh:T, and made me feel better about the £100 fine from Parking and enforcement agency(P.E.A), the other day down titanic qtr. They are a crafty bunch and seem to adhere to BPA rules, time stamp with photos, no terms like fine, penalty etc.

Question though how long before they give up? after all the letters?

    ta

Glad you enjoyed it! I don't have any experience of the PEA letter chain, but am sure they will employ the same bluff and bluster as seen in the UKPC chain, so you can expect very similar letters.

Rest assured that PEA, like every other private parking company have never taken anyone to court in NI. In my opinion PEA are a particularly odious bunch of clampers who imitate authority by accidentally on purpose leaving "ltd" off their name. I assisted a poster on Pepipoo who had his car clamped in Titanic Quarter by these clowns for, and get this, "displaying the ticket in the driver's window instead of the windscreen". PEA Ltd of course refused all appeals but when the guy took a court claim against him they folded immediately and gave him a full refund, plus the court fee.

I'm not sure how long the letter chain will take to peter out, but it will, and I would be interested in seeing the PEA letter chain.
