Thanks Evangeline, it's not a decision we made lightly but dd needed something to be done and school were struggling to deal with it. I think the final straw was getting another sad text from dd and when I went to pick her up one of the behavioural staff started preaching to her about going to them with every little thing that happened. It was as though she was being told off for being bullied and feeling paranoid. Dd was in tears and I just thought...enough.

I am sorry you had such a tough time at school, it must have been awful dealing with something like that at such a young age. I am glad you found an alternative that fitted what you needed, I hope the route we have chosen for dd will prove to be the making of her.

Thank you The worst thing for me was feeling that no one was understanding when I tried to tell them how I was feeling. I think your daughter was in a similar position there. A good teacher would not dismiss an unhappy child in this way :mad: I'm sure you will do a better job of educating her than they could
