Bit of a dense question. I placed an order via C&C at Sada. Delivery came and I accepted. Some of the items are less than half price at my local corner shop. If I wanted to return the items unopened, would I be able to? I phoned C&C yesterday and they confirmed I could take it back to my local Sada store as long as I had the invoice and the items were unopened. So off I popped to my local store today. I got a huge bollocking from the store manager who said once I had accepted the order, tough, I could not change my mind. He sent me on my merry way with all my items. He told me it was Sada policy. Is this correct? Or have I been given the wrong advice?
My understanding is that you can return any item whether bought instore or HD/C&C, without having to give a reason, within 14 days, but here is the T&Cs from their website
http://asda-grocery.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail_grow/a_id/810/kw/returning%20items
How do I return an item?
If you'd like to make a return or want a refund you can either tell our driver when he makes the delivery or you can tell our collection colleague when you make the collection. Alternatively please call our Service Team on 0800 9526060, (calls will be free from a BT landline, calls from other service providers and mobile networks may vary. The Contact Centre is now open from 7am-10.30pm, 7 days a week).
We'll refund any money directly to the account of the debit or credit card you originally used to pay for your shopping, and we'll notify you by email when your refund is processed. Refunds can take between 3-5 working days to be credited to your account. We'll contact you by email when your refund has been processed. Please make sure you let us know within at least 14 days after we deliver your order or you collect your order.

Personally I would follow up with head office on the manager's treatment of you.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
