I've spent the morning cooking a delicious piece of t finest gammon.. Reduced of course. Not as good as some of you get in your locals but £11 ish down to £7 and chopped in half to make two joints.. I'm happy with that.
cjj it doesn't matter how simple or shallow your goals are in life...as long as you feel you have achieved them:) and give yourself the recognition when you have:)
Mine last year was to make more of an effort to have time for myself I started off simply 2 minutes applying my favourite moisturiser after a bath, progressing to applying a bit of makeup and doing my hair properly (just showing it a brush didn't count:rotfl: before the school run:) I think we all loose our identity once we become someone's mum/mummy we forget the person we were before they arrived and become the "no time for ourselves" frantically wading from one task to the next without time to stop and think or appreciate what life has given us. Mine this year is to develop my above routine a little further with my clothing... I've treat myself to quite a few new items in the sales and as its my birthday in a week mums going to give me some pennies towards them instead of the usual toiletries, I've still loads left from last year. This is in the hope that it will give me the incentive to choose something different other than the skinny jeans I wore yesterday just because they are the nearest.
What ever you choose for your goal I'm sure you will achieve them and I wish you the very best for 2015:)
For anyone who hasn't fallen asleep during my ramble:rotfl: I too wish you the best for 2015 here's to health and happiness and some exciting new glitches along the way:beer:
What a brill post:T I certainly didn't fall asleep during your 'ramble' I thought you were very inspiring and perhaps a lot of us--even us grandparents need to take a leaf out of your book and spend time on ourselves, I know I do
Happy New Year and thanks :T:T:T:T:T0 -
