Just briefly de-lurking to say that in this cold weather you shouldn't really add water, it's best just to use neat screen wash as it contains antifreeze and so it's less likely to freeze and become unusable on a cold morning. The more water you add, the more likely it is that it will freeze.
Actually, just remembered, I loved the Morries coupons over the summer too! And everyone getting together to share recipes and tips was lovely
Op shouldn't really be in charge of a car if A. Can't open the bonnet and B. don't know where/how to check oil!:cool:I've just had someone block me on Twitter and defriend me on FB. Feeling a bit upset about it. Basically she's an old work colleague who invited me to what I thought was a NYE event she was going to with a few friends. She asked if I'd like to 'join' in early December. I said I'd maybe drop by but not until after 10ish. I sent her a message today to say I'd changed my mind and got three messages from her. She said she had already bought a ticket to the event (it was a tenner) but luckily she had been invited elsewhere so she wouldn't be a Billy no mates.
I started to apologise and explain that I thought it was a loose arrangement. Sent a message or two. I was just about to send another and couldn't as she's blocked me across all social media. I'm staggered. We're both in our 30s and have been friendly for a few years. Don't really know how to react to this
Prob best of without her to be honest... a real friend wouldn't do that..."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Don't react, you've already explained to her.

I did phone As and got pased around and finally left with their music for 10 minutes after which I hung up. I just hope they are not pouring over my account and planning to suspend me !
I see you got sorted in the end0 -

Phew!
Can you post a photo of the Orange Coat from Next VT?
I regularly pass a Next Clearance store so don't mind looking for you & could post it on to you if they did have one? x
I popped into Sainsbobs earlier and they have Xmas pet toys & treats at 50% off, and Terrys All Gold at 89p or maybe 98p? (not that you lot need chocs lol).
So sorry to hear about Fourp's mother Snap. I really hope she makes a good recovery.
This puts all our silly gripes & worries into perpective. Sending hugs to you xxx
Nite all x
Thanks but doubt will hit the clearance stores. My only hope is either finding in store or hoping someone buys and changes mind and puts on ebay.
It is not on next online and I didn't save a picture. It is the only orange wool coat they did for winter, small Mandarin type collar with buttons down front.
I will track one down but if you spot one in 18 or 20 please let me know where as they are usually pretty good at sending to local stores.
The DP coat I ordered has been reduced another 5% but can't be bothered to order again.
Treated myself to a nutri bullet today and a lightweight set of saucepans from walks online:D

If anyone fancies an interesting read, this is quite a thought provoking thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5125747
Some very eloquent posts and much food for thought. Although I'm not a spendthrift, I am guilty of glitch chasing just for the sport, even if it's something I don't need, such as this morning's heroes. This might give me a better focus I think.0 -
