Well we had a productive Friday - Youngest son took everything out of the porch and we cleaned and cleared it, a few mouse droppings but no sign of the mouse. But it is now ready fir the delivery van to drop parcels of in!
Also Christmas tree and decorations are out of the oft and up - I am fed up of the mess already :D

Late yesterday afternoon I realised I had an over large APG was on its final date so we ventured as far as Sada and I got 3 chocs - 2 Thorntons and the blue linndor :) and things for cashback - also found some nice wombles so I have nearly a tenners worth go APGS to spend :j

Oh has gone to work today  - really need a shopping day.
And he has given me his man flu

  • Good morning

It sounds cold outside can hear de-icing of cars just turned the heating up before I consider getting up to make a coffee. See you later off to catch up

Guessing you used your app to turn your heating up from your bed or did you send the DW down stairs :rotfl:
  • The max number of any one item the apg system will compare against is 10, so if you did buy more than 10 UDIs in one shop you will not benefit as those over the first 10 will not compare.

Oooo didn't know that although I'm not surprised based on the overnight glitch of the Pringles I saw the scale in which some do this, so if they had the chance to purchase more than 10 Udi's in one shop I'm sure they would.

Now only if my local would but a SEL back out confirming there sold out and priced at £1 I'd be happy :rotfl:

Wow, thanks for taking the time to explain all that! :) What does HD stand for? Also my local Asda is small so may not stock them, would they not just then sub them and I'd still get the APG? Also what is the risk, if there in stock I get a nice APG and some udi's, if there out of stock I get subbed and a nice apg, or I get nothing and just pay for for the fillers?

    HD = home delivery

If you can order them online, then do so even if your shop does not stock them. Usually if your CC / HD store do not stock them you would not be able to order them in the first place.

My CC & HD orders do not come from my local shop, so there is no point me even looking if they are in store. I have to wing it with the glitches. If they work, great. If not, well we all have to take a hit now and again. Short term pain for long term gain.

You also have the option of refusing them if they are priced at £2.95 when you collect them if your store actually do have them and they have not been subbed.

You will get a decent APG if they are either £1 on your delivery / in store receipt. Any subs need to be priced at £1. If the UDIs are £2.95 in your store (and therefore on your receipt) then any subs will be priced at £2.95 too, so you won't gain by any subs. You can refuse subs if you don't like what is given.

The main thing is that the price you are charged must be £1 for you to benefit. You could try ordering just one as a test.

If you store is out of stock (oos) of UDIs and you get no subs, the UDIs will still show on the apg and you will get a good comparison.

Im impressed by what you've managed to pick up in an hour... The whole system took me weeks to understand, ah who am I kidding I still don't understand it... :rotfl:

But I have done a successful UDI shop. So here's how it works.

Go into your local A and find the UDI's, for this to work your local A needs to be stocking and selling them at £1.00

You will then notice when you place your C&C / HD order there priced at £2.95

Buy as many UDI's as you see fit along with your fillers in order to achieve your APG.*

    * This is tentative, if UDI's aren't in stock (My local had them in stock but still gave me subs) then you could reject the subs but still get the APG if your spending an APG at this stage you'd need to be sure that your shopping without the UDI's is over £0.00

Then when you get your bill you'll notice the UDI's have been scanned in at £1.00

But when you check your APG you'll see that the system thinks you've paid £2.95 thus creating a nice tasty APG.

I bought 10 and got a little over £20. I wouldn't recommend doing any more than that in one shop if you want to keep under the APG limits and under the radar.

Probably gone the long way around all that, and I'm sure someone more experience will correct me in places. I found the best way to learn was to follow and then try it out, when you see what you do and spend and get back yourself then you / I learned a lot quicker. Obviously this does come with some financial risk :(

DO NOT buy more than 10.

APG will only compare a max of 10 of the same item.

I see springdreams beat me to it. :rotfl::rotfl:

RL calming down a bit and I'd like to try the Udi game. Does anyone know if Radcliffe sell them for £1 please? Thank you.

With 3v cards, check you get the correct activation slip and register them on the 3v website asap before you lose the relevant receipts! Also NB that you can use them (don't do too many) to send money to someone else's Paypal account and also put un-useful small amounts into your Amazon account by sending yourself an e-mail gift voucher. Hoping someone here will say if they work with Pockit. Tried it yesterday, no luck, waiting for CS to reply to e-mail.
