Probably a halfwit question but, I know you can’t lose paying face value but is this really an investment?

Checked TCB and sadly it says “Please note, the Royal Mint is legally unable to provide cashback on coins who’s selling price is the same as it’s denomination, e.g. £5 coin sold for £5 or 50p coin sold for 50p.”

On second thoughts: :( "Please note, the Royal Mint is legally unable to provide cashback on coins who’s selling price is the same as it’s denomination, e.g. £5 coin sold for £5 or 50p coin sold for 50p."

Hugs to you nannylala ..... Whilst Christmas is a magical time to spend with family and my DS who is just 2 years old it's also tinted with sadness for me as the two most precious people in my life my nana and grandad both passed away over Christmas .... My beautiful nana on Boxing Day and my Grandad on New Years Day. Although it many years since they passed its still a very sad time for me. I too look at their photographs and wonder what they would look like now and how much they would adore their great grandson xxxx

No doubt he would be looking wonderful in your eyes just as you no doubt did to him. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who still lights candles for remembrance my day for it was yesterday. Enjoy you day Nannylala x

  • Good morning:wave:

We had a mouse a couple of years ago...In the living room it came up from beneath the fire.. It took us a week to catch it but we got it in the end..(we as in Royal we, I was stood on the chair or out of the way most of the time) Mr monkey chased it around the kitchen with the brush and cornered it pushing into a box.. Then carried if to the nearest field:)

Brrrr super chilly here this morning -1 at the moment mr monkeys just braved the cold and gone to work after defrosting the car..

My plan is to tidy, tidy, tidy... Need to sort cupboards to find space for new toys that are still sat under the tree.

Anyone want to listen to 1D on repeat?... "Everybody wants to steal my girrrlll" were on the fourth cycle now:rotfl:

Have a lovely day to those braving the cold and watch out for those slippery pathways.

    :)
