Oh my that looks lovely I could just have a slice with a cup of tea0 -
I may have to console myself with Pringles, cake and Baileys tonight because of the stress of having my plans thwarted  Was going to be healthy and start juicing again. It's not my fault I have to eat rubbish instead0

Have spent an unexpected afternoon in the garden. It's been sunny here all day. Very chilly though and I've come in to thaw out now. Still haven't sorted my house insurance outwhich was meant to be today's job.
Kipling bag fans.......has anyone ever washed one in the washing machine? I know you're not supposed to but a lot of things say that and are fine. DS2 has managed to tip a whole tumbler of coke over minethen didn't tell me about it, so it's well and truly stained. Have tried sponging it but it's too far gone for that. I figure I might as well give it a go at a low temperature on a quick wash as it's ruined anyway. Thankfully it's not in use at the moment so there was nothing in.
Mine have always washed fine in a washing machine. Is it just the normal kipling material, I have washed normal ones and ones with a bit of glitter not the metallic type though. I would say put it on as gentle a spin as you can and then let it dry naturally. Hope it's alright - love my kiplings.0 -
Morning Emerald,
I can't help waking up at 5am, even in the hols!
Reading back, and looking for Mobility Aids for DM on Ebay. So glamorous!
DH wants to tile the kitchen today, but I think I want to go on a Big Cat hunt! 2 Lynx obsessed teenagers in this house!!
I find Mobility Smart the cheapest site going (especially if you need a shower mat for a walk in shower).

I'm off shopping tomorrow with DH, as he's off this week. We desperately need a new 3 piece suite, ours is a disgrace, and I'm so ashamed of it.:o Hoping for something in the sales, but I'm picky, so not getting my hopes up too much.
Also need a new phone contract as my black fri one from last year that was free for me and DH has now run out.
EE works really well for us, and I have made a friend in the local EE shop who will help me out, and implement the change there and then. I need to sort it out tomorrow, cos I'm working a long day on Tues and nights again on Wed and Thurs.
I'm off now to tidy upstairs. All the prezzies and other stuff was littering up downstairs, so I collected it all up when I tidied and cleaned, but it all got shunted upstairs. So now I have to find homes for all the stuff. Wardrobe tetris, with possibly a bit of loft tetris too.:p

Some time ago (on a previous thread) TrulyMadly posted her Toblerone Cheesecake recipe. I was planning on making one tomorrow but have just realised that I only printed out the first page with the ingredients - I haven't got the instructions ! If anyone has a copy of theinstructions I would really appreciate details. Even better if Truly would kindly re-post her recipe.ELITE 5:2

If you're near a next clearance they often have suites on display and you can sometimes haggle a bit too. They can usually arrange a man with a van as well.0 -
Yes OH said that nothing seemed to be going south from Crewe into Euston - might get as far as Farringdon which apparently is mostly just a market town station
He also said that they were putting people on rail replacement buses from Birmingham to Crewe which took 3 hours  - stopping at all places en route - even on a bad M6 day this is only an hours trip.
Also the rail replacement bus from Hereford to crewe was taking 4 HOURS  - honestly you could fly to Europe faster
Farringdon station? it's 2 stops on the tube from Euston square you could walk it in 20 mins!:DEvangeline1971 wrote: »So angry, just had to leave my shopping in a5da as the fire alarm went off. They asked us to leave our shopping and make our way outside, giving the impression we'd be allowed back in but we weren't  I'd almost completed 2 carefully planned shops. Got stuff for juicing and a broth which now must be delayed until tomorrow. Also the inlaws are coming round and we were meant to be having Dr O pizza but now we'll have to have chippy  If only I'd gone 15 minutes earlier I'd have my shopping now
