How do you deal with coins/notes QOC? They have got the most germ ridden things about that we have to handle!?

    Morning all.

In my job I handle money all day, my hands are really dirty when I finish and I wipe them constantly during the day.
I never eat when I'm am work it just turns me off food

I never dwell on what I looked like on my wedding :o I never got engaged....just married. All I remember is peplums were fashionable. I had a knee length dress with a peplum, 80s hair and the pointiest shoes I've ever worn (with insoles because they were a little too big) :o
The photos are funny though :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

fairclaire, this sounds like mine wedding, knee length dress, pointed shoes, massive hair, oh and the bridesmaid dress were to die for, or die if you had to wear them :rotfl:

Hopefully will be different next year, 2015, full length dress, rather fuller than I was looking for, same church, same man 25 years later, we are renewing our vows :rotfl:

I agree we had a similar thing ages ago think it was with Virgin agreed a 12 month deal over the phone 3 or 6 months later 1 discount goes and I was just hitting a brick wall, same sort of thing no one would offer you that, who did you speak to etc etc I said no idea but see who signed me up to this deal check your recorded calls.

They got back to me recorded calls not held for that long but they spoke to op and they did not offer me 12 months only the 3 or 6 whatever I had received.
Told them what I thought of that but was getting nowhere and still on a decent deal so decided it was not worth the hassle and I had no proof.
So now as fc mentioned we get everyone to email us the quote/deal etc :D

Subject access request ;) they have to provide you with any recorded calls they have had with you. If they claim they haven't kept them it's fair enough to ask them for their destruction policy on them. It might also cost you £10. Probably only worth it if you are talking a reasonable sum of money.
On the other hand, it's ALOT of hassle for them and rather than trawl through phone records they might just cave in.......

Under FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) rules they should be keeping recordings for 7 years. Most likely it is "too much trouble" to find the recording so they are fobbing you off.

Suggest to them you will initiate a complaints procedure - that will cost them a lot more to deal with, and they might then see sense and give you the £25 as a 'cheaper' option.

I wish :rotfl::rotfl: get home from work, scrub me hands and very often make myself a sandwich, but it's always the wrong time, late afternoon, then I'm late eating tea cause I'm not hungry.
:rotfl: I make myself a sandwich, I do, but I drive a sandwich van and never eat them :rotfl::rotfl:

Does anyone know if Next are accepting returns yet? I know they don't on Boxing Day, but I have some stuff to take back. Annoyingly one is a jumper from my MIL that cost her £30 but is now £13 in the sale

Please can I ask anyone who has done the American Express shop local spend £10 thingy did you get an email to say you had completed your task or did the £5 extra just show on the next bill?

I've just had my bill so its going to be the end of January or February now but I just wondered if it was adjusted on settlement day or if they sent you an email announcement :j
