It's kind of like a gift card but a VISA card. Each one costs £25 but you also get clubcard points for buying them. Once activated properly you can use them online to buy anything as long as VISA cards are accepted.

Think I've seen these... But don't they cost £2.95 activation?

How many Clubcard points we talking... I've £80 worth I should really look at spending some...

    I tweaked your post slightly

    Oo eerrr

    :rotfl:

I am new to using them, they seem too much hassle and will be annoyed if I don't get my £25 back. My own fault for not checking I'd got my 3V receipt but at the time I was buying wine and about 5 other bits of paper were probably spat out.

    Good evening everyone,

Thanks for the new thread. Hope you are all okay.

Can anyone please help me with a 3V card question as I'm new to the game?

I bought some a few weeks ago but only just got around to spending them this week. I couldn't get one to work online so emailed 3V with the number and they told me it had not been activated and it is the retailers responsibilty.

I went to Tosco CS and was told there was nothing they could do without a receipt but I can't find it. I was given the Head Office number to ring but not phoned them yet

Has anyone else bought these cards before and not had them activated, were you able to get a refund without a receipt.

I will have paid for them on my credit card but not sure when.

    Thanks,
    Sad_Dad

If you know the approximate date and time and till they should be able to print off the transaction. You may be able to find this out if you had other successful activations at the same tine. Worth a try as they aren't likely to be helpful at all without proof of purchase. You paid by credit card? Perhaps they could confirm the date, time etc. I can assure you it's a nightmare when cards are activated twice or not at all. It's happened to me several times now.

    Good evening all

This site has ruined me! I went to Bath market yesterday and only bought 1 thing and have wandered around Cardiff for 3 hours thus evening and spent very little. I just see how expensive it all is compared to the glitch prices and I am struggling to buy without going through Quidco :rotfl:

On the plus side, I have money in my pocket :)

Anyone else here got shares in Tosco?

I bought some in September after they plunged due to the financial irregularities. I figured that they probably wouldn't go much lower.

So far it's not looking like a good investment as they are 20% down on what I paid. I plan to hold them for a few years but if you could all stop taking advantage of some of their glitches it should help the share price recover ;)

Thanks for this. The good thing is I pay for everything I buy there on my Tsco credit card. The only problem is that it could be one of two stores and about one of 15 dates.

I thought about it. I've held in Thomas Cook, Royal Mail, sold both and made a tidy sum. Currently I own Lloyds Bank and an Oil company. What put me off was how deep this seemed to run... I don't ever think Tesco will go under. The reassuring thing when I bought Thomas Cook was David Cameron saying he wouldn't let them go under. So I just think as long as you don't need that cash, then I'm happy to see it sat there. I'm pretty sure I'm a 40 year old stuck in a 22 year old's body :rotfl:
