  • Good morning :santa2:

    Hope all is well:)

My Christmas plans went pear shaped yesterday, lots to do deliveries and collections to make etc but little man developed a temperature 39.2:eek: managed to get it down to 38 ish but after 1/2 hrs nap it went back up. He just wasn't his normal self so i was Frantically checking cold hands/feet etc all morning. Rang the doctors, sorry no appointments left for today:mad::eek: please ring back tomorrow morning.... So I explained and they said they'd ring me back in 5 minutes... Rang back can I get there now, doctor will squeeze you in:j

Poor little man has an ear infection!! So we've got some lovely glow in the dark medicine... I can see an improvement already:j
Just goes to show you do have to trust your instinct sometimes:)
So today I'm playing catch up and probably meeting myself coming backwards:rotfl:

Did have a very successful vip shop online last night, first slot so I'm very pleased... New winter coats for all of us:j haven't had the first slot for a few years ..

Has anyone seen any decent cheap crackers or know when @ reduce them? T had none when I went and @ were still full price:(
    Thanks

Have a lovely day... Will pop in now and again but battery on 6% now:(
    Ttfn :santa2:

Just caught up with you all after another busy day. Hugs to everyone that needs them, seems a few are needed today.
Have been over to neighbours for drinks, which included home made sloe gin, which has left a funny metallic taste in my mouth lol. Now swooning over the gorgeous Patrick Swayze on channel 5. Taken way too soon :(

    DH took this earlier :D

Tweets, I'm glad I read your update about your trip to Tesco, as I had been thinking the phone shop wouldn't be open at 7! Hope the visit goes ok, I'm sure we'll all look forward to hearing all about it.

Gross subject of the day - the yellow eye drops that I mentioned my son had at the hospital this morning? They made their way out of his nose in the form of luminous yellow snot this afternoon! :rotfl: . Noticed it in the waiting room at the orthodontist, was a little surprising!

I am glad I found phone shop opening times no way could I have spent 2 hours shopping before it opened

Not looking forward to phone trip :(

    Morning all.
The turkey I won has just arrived by courier! It was in an enormous box with a polystyrene box inside that and wrapped in ice packs inside that. Luckily DH hadn't left for work as I couldn't lift it on my own
I've had to do some quick rearranging of the fridge to fit it in for now. Does anyone know how to cut a turkey into joints, that's the only way I think I can deal with it. I'm thinking take the legs off and divide the rest into two but I don't really know. We usually buy a turkey crown :D

Shame even bought some freezer bags with shop so I could squeeze them in freezer.

Returned them even before I left the shop - refund without question thankfully.
