Oh that is awful :( but chances are if they were putting him on a stretcher he was still alive. If he wasn't there would have been police/forensics and it would've been cordoned off. How was laid on the stretcher would depend on his injuries and how urgent the need to get him to hospital was.
These freak accidents can happen anywhere :( try not to dwell on the fact that your kids go there too much. It could happen on the pavement outside your house just the same :(hug4.gif

Police did come, aswell, but we carried on walking, as I couldnt just stand around and look as there was quite a lot of people hanging around, just horrible.

I know it can happen anywhere, but it gets very busy on these skateparks, and my kids have said various times, so and so broke his leg/arm today, ambulance came for them, but when you actually see someone out cold, it is really not nice.

Now you told them they cant go you can relent with a big IF, and if you catch the little [STRIKE]sods[/STRIKE] darlings leaving their gear off, ban them again.

I will have to have a chat with them, before they next want to go, and give them some rules.

Have you not got that back to front, SFSB is the shorter one ;)

The beauty of it all must have confused me, my apologies :p :rotfl:

  • Evening luvlies, savingbabs so so sorry to hear about your burglary, nothing worse than that at Christmas, hope you get things sorted soon.

Well I'm about 8 pages behind - got one eye on season 2 of breaking bad and the other on MSM ;). Has anyone noticed the 50p savvy buys in M? Tinned food - great cupboard fillers:

    M Vegetable Chilli 400g £1 in A and £1.30 in S
M Chicken in Red Wine Sauce 400g
    M Thai Chicken Curry 400g (1.49 in S)
    M Sausage Casserole 390g

Will have a little look in store I think :)

Feeling quite sick, just saw something awful happen.

Dropped OH off at the pub in town earlier, for his xmas night out, and took my youngest and dog for a walk. We walked past the skatepark, on the way back to the car, and there was an ambulance there, they were picking a young lad up and putting him on a stretcher, he was out cold, they lay him down face first and covered him up, not sure if he was alive or not, but it really made me feel cold all over. The thing is this skatepark is all concrete, and is a favourite place my kids like to go to with their scooters and bmxs. I have explained to my kids that I dont want them going again now, as seeing this happen today, and how easy accidents happen, it frightens the life out of me.

I hope and pray this lad is ok.

Aww Sarah, how awful. Really hope he is ok. Must have been a real shock for you xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
  • It's a blinkin shame the free range streaky bacon packs in W don't compare to A :rotfl: MSM showing on offer from £12.99 to 22p until 30.12.14

Right off to watch another few episodes :D
