I'm feeling very soppy and just wanted to say to all of the Elite how much I have missed being active in the thread this past year. but health, blah, family, blah we all know how it goes.
For years I have dreaded Christmas time (too many memories) and struggle to get motivated. But last year I was on such an UP and I really believe that being more active in the thread was a large part of my "feel good factor". This year I've had the old sense of apathy creep over me, but over the last week trying to get back here more it has really started to lift.
So thank you all, and in the immortal word of Tiny Tim "God bless Us, Every One"

    Hugs Pasipha (((X)))

I'm laughing at this as after years of the air turning blue as Mr lutzi attempted to put the tree in the stand (the only time he usually swears, it's a Christmas tradition :D), we actually remembered to do a trunk inspection this year when choosing our tree. :rotfl:
:rotfl: glad it's not just my hubby who does this :o
If it is the £3 off £12 ones, I got family size Philly and a nice PP with the receipt, thanks to whoever it was who first mentioned this the other day x
Thank you :) I'll check this out :)

As I understand it, if you have used a high amount of vouchers and you aren't getting subs, the system isn't able to cope with 'nothing to pay' issues. This is most likely something that neither the staff at your store or HO will understand. It's a system thing and no ones fault. Just as the system works in our favour, it can work against us. In no way aimed at you Jelly but the c&c thing is dodgy, especially when you are making profit on your shopping but it carries a risk. I personally don't do it. My choice because I do think they'll cotton on at some point and I don't want my name on the list :o
That's a very fair comment, FC, and I quite understand. You've explained it a lot clearer than Sada did!
There was £1.38 to pay, but I had selected subs for every item.
I'd only opened the online account for the Udi glitch, for the reasons I've mentioned, and if and when the issue gets resolved, I doubt very much if I'll be using it again, so I'm not that fussed if they put my name on the 'naughty list':) (I just hope I don't jinx it for anyone else:o) And if it doesn't get resolved, so be it ... it doesn't affect me financially, it just disadvantages people who have enough to deal with anyway.:(

Was a bit down from Tuesday last week thought our Poppy had broke her tail  It was limp and hung funny and she couldn't lift it proper and it wasn't waggy so I rang vets and she had got a dead tail and was nothing to worry about.

After tea last night :j:j:j Poppy's tail was very waggy and in normal position her dead tail is better :T:T:T and I feel better knowing its better.

Hi All, I am an avid follower of the thread for a couple of years now, but too shy to post normally:o
I wanted to warn everybody to be careful when shopping, I was in asda car park on Wednesday evening, I had just put my shopping in the boot and sat in my car when a very young foreign girl came to my car door. She asked me for help but I couldn't understand her so asked again what was the matter.
while she was speaking to me her eyes darted to my passenger seat and as soon as she did that I looked and saw that someone had stolen my bag from the seat.
I couldn't believe I had been tricked like that as I am usually very careful and felt very stupid. So please all be careful.
I had a similar experience, a couple of young attractive eastern european girls approached me in a SADA car park and told me they were very cold and lost and could I run them to the railway station. Half way there the girl in the rear asked me to stop as she felt unwell, I stopped the car and opened the rear door to see if I could help. The other girl got out and pushed me into the car and followed me in, the two girls then rubbed themselves all over me and "pleasured" me for a good ten minutes before running away laughing.

It was only after I recovered my cool that I realized they had stolen my wallet.

    Be careful out there.

This happened on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, but I didnt see them on Friday.
