Hi All, I am an avid follower of the thread for a couple of years now, but too shy to post normally:o
I wanted to warn everybody to be careful when shopping, I was in asda car park on Wednesday evening, I had just put my shopping in the boot and sat in my car when a very young foreign girl came to my car door. She asked me for help but I couldn't understand her so asked again what was the matter.
while she was speaking to me her eyes darted to my passenger seat and as soon as she did that I looked and saw that someone had stolen my bag from the seat.
I couldn't believe I had been tricked like that as I am usually very careful and felt very stupid. So please all be careful.

  • Evening all
Finally hubby has rearranged our living room/dining room & rug doctored the carpet so we've bought our real tree from b&q for £10 :j would have loved to have got one from ikea but couldn't justify spending £20+ in petrol to go & get one :rotfl: now he's just realised he's going to need to cut the base of the tree to make it fit the stand oooooops :o :rotfl:

You need to cut at least an inch off the bottom of the tree anyway to allow to take up the water :)
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I'm not going to tell him that now as he's already got the hump having saw bits of the sides of the trunk for it to fit in the stand :o hopefully it will take water in from the sides :rotfl:
