    Your recent Click+Collect order‏

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent Click+Collect order. Due to some technical issues, you may have received several emails from us about your order, or unfortunately, you might not have received any. We’re really sorry about any confusion we’ve caused.

As you can imagine, we’re doing our best to quickly fill all of our Christmas orders, and the good news is, your order is now ready for collection in store.

We appreciate your patience during this busy time, and thank you for shopping with us.

I've got 2 f&f orders to collect as well as a denby order, no emails for 2nd f&f and that was about a week ago, denby should be ready this afternoon according to original order but thought emails were missing!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. Worst thing is they stole spare car keys so we're having to change locks and ignition so means house, contents and car insurance. Also OH and DD2 won't have their presents to open as (if/when) insurance sorted it's replace so can't buy new ones in time for them to be opened.

Everyone safe though, think we're writing this Xmas off as OH working Xmas day too, so will try and get mojo back for Boxing Day celebrations

What a rubbish start to Christmas :(.

Most big stores have a no quibble refund policy ... will not work with all items if they have any unique numbers etc (some electricals) but for others assuming you will get identical replacements and you have the money available, you could potentially buy now (separate receipts), return (replacement item) later for a full refund. That way you bring forward replacement items so that OH and DD2 have something to open at Christmas. Some people have been known to do this when expensive presents have dropped in price in the sales ;).

Note I am not encouraging anything, just saying it may be technically possible - as the store is having an identical item returned I am not sure it would be anything legally wrong ... (Probably not electricals with a unique serial number as they could be recorded/allocated by store, I would assume).

I've left xmas shopping a bit late this year, anyone know where I can get one of these ?

EBay USA or possibly specialist comic shops ... but looks pricey .

If you got it you would not be letting them play with it at $349
