So the live chat is just for skincare or make up emergencies? So long as they don't involve actually getting the product? :rotfl:

It would seem so! I was disappointed. I spend a fair few pounds with them. But yes it seems like they have online make up consultants who can't help if you have a messed up order. But they can tell you what products you need without even seeing you
  • How frustrating for you! I hope that you get a reasonable response from them. Glad you had some stash to pass on though. Lovely idea. :A

To be honest I'm not bothered if they don't honour the APGs (it was 'free money' as far as I was concerned, and I'd finessed or abused the APG system (depending on your point of view) with the aim of re-using the APGs for charity purposes , but they should have told me beforehand. I had booked the C&C at that specific time for a specific reason (which I won't go into here) and cancelling it at such short notice disrupted some well-organised plans. I just thought that CS were taking the p1ss.
Note,. I was very polite to the various CS people I spoke to, and explained that I realised it wasn't their decision. (Having worked in CS, I know how tough it is:D)

I don't know if Amazon sell any other vouchers? I shouldnt be so peed. I use Amazon a lot so it will get used. It's just the fact that I WANTED to buy my Amazon gift vouchers with them

Now I have to think of another meaningful present.

Talking of my virtual post-it's I had to 'live chat' with Lancôme tonight. Hate 'live chat' but that was the only option. I made an order on Monday and I've had no dispatch email and as far as I can see no money has come out of my account. I pasted the chat onto a post-it. Bear in mind I selected shipping/delivery as the subject of my chat

Celesta: Good evening I am Celesta. How can I help you today?
Me: I am concerned about an order I placed on Monday 15th. I haven't received a dispatch email and as far as I can see the money for the order hasn't been taken from my bank account. The order no. is xxxxxxxxx
Celesta: I'm sorry I don't have access to that information. You
would need to ring our helpline on (phone number) Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. I can offer you advice on skin care or make up however
Me: No thank you, I will ring the helpline on Monday. Thank you for your time.
Celesta: Have you seen our new Juicy Tubes selection pack?
Me: No but I would have done if I'd received my order
Celesta: I see. Would you like skin care advice?
    Me:No
Celesta: Well thank you for contacting Lancôme live chat. I'm glad to have been of help (she wasn't ) have a nice holiday season

And who on earth is called Celesta  :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh Lord, how utterly futile :D

And who on earth says 'have a nice holiday season' :rotfl:

Good for you Jelly. My excess glitch items go to a family that live near me. Their father died quite suddenly leaving behind a wife and 3 young daughters. They struggle to make ends meet so they get the glitches.
    Good for you, mimi

    Good attitude to have.
As I understand it, if you have used a high amount of vouchers and you aren't getting subs, the system isn't able to cope with 'nothing to pay' issues. This is most likely something that neither the staff at your store or HO will understand. It's a system thing and no ones fault. Just as the system works in our favour, it can work against us.

In no way aimed at you Jelly but the c&c thing is dodgy, especially when you are making profit on your shopping but it carries a risk. I personally don't do it. My choice because I do think they'll cotton on at some point and I don't want my name on the list :o

You took a good haul to the food bank today and a lot of people will be very happy. I did too this morning. If people need to be using food banks, they will be very grateful of a good square meal. :)
