    Can you feel my empathy?:)

I feel the same. I have had the busiest couple of weeks work wise ever. Thank goodness I had stuff put away and the freezers are full.

I am longing to get into wind down mode but working right up until Christmas Eve.

Husband will only get bank hols off over Xmas but that is a double edged sword as it means if DD goes to MILs for a couple of nights I might actually get a day at home on my own.:p

Looking towards breaking up today was the only thing that has kept me going the last couple of months. I am going to start looking for a decent non teaching post within education as soon as a can - had enough.

Don'T know where you are TM, but my Lidl offers are bacon, brown sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms next weekend. I'm saff England. Think they sometimes do regional offers. Hth

thank you to all you lovely people and yours lists, I did a successful choc shop :j

I combined a chco trio with things I needed, lost a few pence on a few fillers - vegetables esp :( - but otherwise very pleased.

The thorntons were on the kids sweeties section and the only filler I could find was swiss :T - exactly what I wanted.

My store still looks like a plague of locusts have swarmed through

    :)

Only just returned - we left at 6am to be there at 7.30.

Op went well & she was back on ward by 11.30 - but she then threw up & threw up & threw up ..... :p poor mite - only 6 years old

So eventually at 5pm they gave her an anti sickness drink :T

10 minutes later - the turn around was incredible - then had to wait for the discharge letter....

Admittedly I escape for an hour & caught a bus to a Ts to avoid all the sick :p well we needed sandwiches & an Ariel doll :D

  • Excuse the strong language pre-watershed, but Sada CS really are a shower of sh1te:mad: Spent the last hour trying to find out what the problem was, have ended up emailing them (you should see the email, it's a doozy:)).
Basically, order cancelled at last minute, no reason given, and £40-odd of evouchers removed from my account.
In brief, phoned CS who told me that the order was cancelled by the store (despite the fact that the store phoned me to say Head Office had cancelled it) because the APGs had gone on to my account as evouchers, and they shouldn't have. Spoke to APG helpline who said that, no, that was correct and what should've happened. Phoned back CS who said that I needed to go to the store ..."So what's the point of online shopping if I have to go into the store?" was my question ... they didn't have an answer to that, and couldn't help me. So, I found the store number myself and phoned them - and of course no one is answering the phones. Finally, I've fired off an email.

    Now, think happy thoughts, Jelly
    :D

How frustrating for you! I hope that you get a reasonable response from them.

Glad you had some stash to pass on though. Lovely idea. :A
