Went last night and had to pretty much muggle shop with DH  he was stressy about getting certain things he wanted.
Still have stuff to get for DD, never been so far behind this close to Xmas before.
But school has broken so :T:j:beer: and I'm always saying I don't drink yet I am sat here with a glass of wine/7up mixer. Been a hell of a term in school.:D
Can you feel my empathy?:)
I feel the same. I have had the busiest couple of weeks work wise ever. Thank goodness I had stuff put away and the freezers are full.
I am longing to get into wind down mode but working right up until Christmas Eve.To do is to be. Rousseau

I read your post earlier celebrate and smiled to myself. I am the fussiest person in the world for diaries. It has to be week to view, have a flexible cover......can't bear hard backed diaries, loads of room for notes in the back, really good quality paper....the list goes on. I have bought a Letts diary for years and checked out Staples and Viking for my quidco bonus before I bought it....neither stock the exact one I need. It was either WHS or buy direct from Letts plus postage.
I'm loving it already and can't wait to start filling it in. How sad am I?:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

thank you to all you lovely people and yours lists, I did a successful choc shop :j
I combined a chco trio with things I needed, lost a few pence on a few fillers - vegetables esp- but otherwise very pleased.
The thorntons were on the kids sweeties section and the only filler I could find was swiss :T - exactly what I wanted.

I'm thinking that I might start a little sideline selling secret Santa presents as their perceived value is so much greater than the actual value.:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

On a happier note, today I waved bye-bye to the Jelly glitch stash. It's now all on its way to a local charity helping homeless and the working poor, with a foodbank and other essential supplies (toiletries etc).
(All apart from the frozen/fridge stash,as they don't have any chilled storage facilities, otherwise they would've been getting a load of Jus Rol pastry, Giovanni Rani pasta and Morribobs frozen fruit, as well.)
Plus a load of Ristorante and Covent Garden vouchers, with instructions on where to get them the cheapest.
Plus a couple of sleeping bags and mats. Not glitch items, but I figured that anyone who has to sleep on the streets this Christmas is going to need them a lot more and a lot sooner than I would the next time I may go camping.
(But no Christmas puds, mince pies, brandy sauce, chocolates, biccies and other goodies, thanks to the grinches at Sada.:()
Thanks to everyone who posted about glitches and bargains, vouchers and MOCs, did test shops, posted shop results, offered tips and advice, and so and so on ... you all helped make it happen:T'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
