well I took the kids into town last night (OH's idea), to buy DS some new trainers and let them go on the carousel/helter skelter that is all Christmas looking and lovely. What a disaster  Kids upset and complaining about everything, OH mooching and picking out 9 different pairs of trainers and me getting irate with all of them. Culminated in the kids getting a "naughty sticker" on their Xmas reward chart and going to bed early while we plonked ourselves down with a bottle of wine. :o

I'm not a keen shopper at the best of times (supermarkets are another thing:p), but window shopping and mooching around with kids is just something i don't do...

oh Nerfy, you do make me laugh :D:rotfl:

Tell the kids its coal from Santa this Christmas :o
  • I need to maximise my dairy MOC's from T and want to stock up on cheese and butter. Have found the following (via MyS) and will test at lunch:

    2 x Lurpak 1kg £6.20 each = £12.40. Use £3 dairy moc plus fillers..
Get a £6.40 PP back on a £9.40 spend as they are £3 in A (excluding fillers).

Cost for 2kg butter becomes £3......:D:T

Need to do a cheese one next....

  • Morning Elite,

Looking for a bit of advice, I placed an order from A Direct for some toys on the 5th December. I have checked the tracking details and there's no information still says there awaiting collection.

I rang them on Monday and the very mono-tone customer service guy told me he'd have a word with the delivery company and get back to me. I expressed the urgency as these items are for Christmas. Safe to say he's not got back to me. Where do I go next just ring back and express even more urgency. I have to say I'm disappointed I expected better from A. I even paid more to buy from them to ensure Christmas delivery as the items were cheaper on the dreaded eBay :/

It bloomin' will be coal unless they sort themselves out:p. DS is 5 and has become spoilt, getting a strop on last night as I said no to a toy or sweets.. I'm always mindful about not spoiling, think he's just at that age, regardless of me having chats with him about money, wages, paying for things etc. I want him to be sensible (but i guess he is 5 so i have to rein myself in a bit!):D

Don't put the butter on your hair instead of the shampoo :D

    Morning,

I chased up mine when I had to wait 55 minutes last month.
Lots of triggers and chocs when I went to A's last night, in case you needed any.

Farm foods has opened as well.

Have a good day, off to find a petticoat for DD, as the dress the school have ordered for the girls for the choir is see through:eek: and they can't wear the dress without one.

i thought it had but wasn't sure if they were just stocking shelves or if they were actually open? do you go in by where they are building the hungry horse?
