Mystery solved - just found the email. Its a bonus for using my nectar card to pay for something from Argos back in November.
Quite neat actually. I bought something for £17 odd and I used a £10 Argos gift card which came from sun+ months and months back, £5 in nectar points and the rest in cash


Ive also in the process of checking my nectar cards and the little used one - I use it for maybe a £1 purchase per week to get any till spits that it might have - didn't even have any for months on end.

Its had 500 nectar points added on December 11th, no idea why just says e rewards so it could be anything.

Nectar are always sending you emails saying things like buy xxxx and be entered into a draw to win zillion points etc - I've got one recently and the stipulation is to buy a whiskas sachet.
so it might be something like that.

Or maybe its one of the insurance date reminder things

its only worth £2.50 but still better than nothing and its worth checking your nectar account

I got a couple of those last year, Ok for presents but not very exciting.

Also I got a mishapes bag from Home bargains for £1 and it had the exact same Thorntons chocs in it :eek:

Also just checked OHs nectar account which is linked to the Oxfam green tag scheme - everytime you take something into Oxfam you attach a green sticker with a number on it and if anything sells you some nectar points added to your account.

Before we went AWOL we took a box and some bags into our Oxfam, a couple of trips. In fact I've started another box of bric a brac to take in today, trying to be ruthless.

anyway I looked at OHs nectar and he has had added 100 points for joining the scheme plus points for (at least) 3 sales worth a total of nearly £80 - this is fabulous :T

If you can get hold of the current Tesco magazine there is a voucher in the mag for extra clubcard points when you buy £50 worth of gift cards but it doesn't have to be as a £50 card, you just need to spend £50 in one transaction. Sorry I haven't got anymore info as I can't find the magazines down our way.

I'm on the hunt for some of these in about an hour so can let you know. Didn't compare to W yesterday as per redrose.

Trigger I found yesterday Thorntons it's the most wonderful time of the year box (deep red coloured box) 252g bc ends 233670 x
