I meant, could you buy a £50 prepaid Amex using your regular Amex to claim £25 cashback and then use that £50 prepaid amex to buy something else (maybe a Boots giftcard) and get another £25 credit?
Would the prepaid cards allow statement credits to go back on them?
No, unfortunately not - it says prepaid and corporate cards excluded from the offer.

Ah well, was just a thought. Thanks for clarifying
I did really like the 25% off giftcards promo that they ran (buy boots cards in argos, use boots cards to buy visas in boots, use visas to buy boots cards in argos, use boots cards to buy visas in boots, use visas to buy boots cards in argos, use boots cards to buy visas in boots, use visas to buy boots cards in argos.......:money:)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I've bought m&s gift cards in argos too. Also last week bought boots in argos then 3v in boots with the gift cards (was unsure if it would work but went through till fine), had a £10 cashback on £100 spend with amex in argos, this is much better.0 -

Morning everyone
Thanks PD and CoT for the lurpak posts, will pick some up later
Bought a watch online yesterday from the Watch Shop in their sale, as was cheapest place I could find for the one I wanted. There was an unexpected additional 15% discount for Goldsmiths (presumably part of the same group?) Also you get 5 vouchers for every purchase, each giving you £5 off anything on the site, no minimum spend. The vouchers are one for you and 4 for your friends, emailed immediately. Ordered another watch and an alarm clock and aside from the £5 off each there is a further loyalty discount, but no idea how that is calculated.
Lots of charms, love links etc in their sale, but stock looks limited on some items. Free delivery or c&c to watch shop/goldsmith stores.0 -

There may be off exceptions but generally no. I seem to recall people were able to pay off Next store cards with them? The Visa cards may work (3V prepaid have been blocked for most financial transactions but the other Visa with a fee can apparently still work with some financial transactions).
