    Morning all

Not been on for a few days. Friday went to see panto with DS1 and his school then weekend was manic. Been trying to get organised for Christmas and taking boys to birthday parties. Have gone through present box but still need to get a few big presents and then start wrapping

Due to start a run of 3 night shifts tonight but feeling pretty rotten myself now. Children have shared their germs and I was up half the night short of breath, coughing and with sore throat. Think the bit of my throat that was damaged by my radiotherapy is inflamed as I'm struggling more than usual to swallow :( Tried to ring Drs but was 11th in the queue to speak to the receptionist  Planning a restful morning then will see how I am later.

Well done tweets on your continued weight loss :T I've fallen off the sw wagon a bit at the moment. Must have enough of the plan as part of normal routine now though as I've still managed to maintain the last few weeks despite 4 xmas meals and drinks :) I'm still 2 stones down this year overall so will be happy if I can maintain over xmas and start properly again in the new year.

Postie brought a conditional spend mailing from !!!!!!, three MOCs for £40 spends  - oh well I can go on a 3V card hunt

Not much else on the shopping list apart from the veggies and a few cashback items ...

Right back to the wrapping - it was the postie that distracted me honestly :D

Ta for this, OH did the order so he might not have noticed an email yet.

Glad really, far better to arrive the other side of Christmas

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your support. You may remember from our previous email, that we advised our customers that their poppy would be delivered in January / February 2015.

We are delighted to announce that we are currently ahead of schedule and have successfully delivered over 250,000 poppies. Deliveries have been programmed by a combination of factors that do not necessarily correlate to customer locations or the time of the order. You may receive your poppy before friends and neighbours over the coming weeks but if you do not it does not mean the order has gone missing.

Unfortunately, the recent unprecedented demand for pre- Christmas deliveries being experienced nationally will now slow the rate of delivery over the next couple of weeks. We understand that this may cause some disappointment for those customers who have not yet received their poppy, please be assured that each poppy is being packaged individually and will be delivered as soon as possible in the New Year. We are not able to give specific dates however you will be contacted prior to delivery by our delivery partner Yodel.

Any collections or returns will also be delayed and we apologise for any inconvenience in advance.

We understand that many people may have purchased a poppy as a gift in remembrance of a fallen soldier. In this case a gift certificate is available on the Order Status page which can be printed for use before the poppy arrives.

Please periodically access the Order Status page to see the status of your order, with further information available in our FAQ.

Please note the Contact Centre is unable to hasten deliveries.

Be careful if using £25 xmas bonus in morries and doing a match shop. The match takes the £25 into account as a saving. I bought 2 x 18 stella expecting 6000 points match and receipt said I'd saved £19! Got points added at cs but just a warning to check receipts.

Am I right in thinking the 3v cards are now a bit thin on the ground?
