I already knew I found spreadsheets addictive but nows it's MSM I'm finding addictive too...

I was looking through some spirits and stuff, obviously if your doing a targeted shop be sure to check the prices of other stores... Tesco owning the alcohol this Christmas.

Edit: Oh I know it's not perfect, too it's my learning tool. I've just said that and finally understood why everyone now thinks I'm a geek *hides*
I wonder how many here now remember the DTD spreadsheet ?

I'm off to church in an hour so I will ask for forgiveness while I'm there:o:o
  • Did I see a list being made? I have not won on the Dr Opizza thing either, but I must have only had about 30 or so :D Annoyingly seem to have 6 taking up space in the freezer at the moment. Don't bother with the arabiata though, not great!

Anyway OH finally got home - now has to work Sunday as well

So we went to Morrisons where the Sally Army brass band were playing, you could hear them across the car park. When I went inside they were actually playing in the foyer at full volume, not outside and the noise was deafening - went to CS and you could not hear yourself speak.

I've got OHs as man flu and my ears were throbbing even though I was only in the vicinity fir a matter of minites - felt vile in town afterwards so we did what was needed and then turned for home.

  • Renewed my car insurance recently - £80 less than last time, and excess reduced from £150 to £0 (the quote was cheaper with £0 excess than £150 - go figure!).

Anyway, I got sent a voucher for a half-price MOT at Halfords, which I won't be using, so I'm putting it in my recycling bin:wink:

I had similar on my recent house insurance renewal. Gave me a quote with a voluntary excess of £150, when I changed it down to £0 it didn't change the cost at all. Bit sneaky really, as I bet a lot of people wouldn't think to change it, then if they did need to make a claim would have to pay the £150.

Think I'll give that one a miss then :)
Freezer is now filling up nicely with pizzas :) unfortunately when we have them for dinner we go through 5 at a time so the freezer empties back out really quickly :( (kids insisting we do something called' feeding them' pffft! :D)
