  • Post 10, why would i only get 1 or 2 weeks? My sick note will definitely be for 6 weeks (possibly more) due to the nature of the operation.

    I think your employer has misinterpreted the changes to SSP. No amount of SSP is recoverable to an employer any more, they used to be able to recover amounts if their total SSP was more than their gross NICs. They are still liable to pay SSP though.

    You are entitled to SSP,, if your employer is refusing to pay it for what ever reason, please use the information given in #2 and #5.
