I got a letter from Monument telling me I had a claim. I forgot one vital thing. I'd divorced and changed my name. They sent me a cheque at the beginning of June. I called them and followed their instructions to return the cheque with proof of who I am. I did this.
I contacted them in August they told me they had lost the proof could I resend. I did.
I;ve called them 3 times since and written two letters. When I called I was told it was being processed and would be sent. Its now into mid december and they are not replying to my letters.
Can anyone help. I cant afford to go to a Lawyer. I cant understand why they wont resend the cheque without giving me a reason for the delay.
I'd be really greatful for advice. Thank you.

You don't need a lawyer.
Complain it writing, then take the case to FOS.0 -
