                    Hi Guys,
I know it's a bit off topic, but I saw this article on Dr Chris Steele's site and thought I'd share it here. One of the biggest causes of depression is financial stress and I found this interesting.

Your two statements are totally unconnected, there is no mention of 'financial stress' in the article.
What's your point, or what are you selling? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Depression has certainly been around in our household for years. It's not caused by the lack of money, but the never knowing from one week to another what our income for that week will be.
Currently we have seen a massive reduction in our weekly benefit monies because the government keep on changing the goalposts. At our ages (both over 65) we should not have to keep having this stress heaped upon us.0

Depression and clinical depression - one cannot be equated with the other. The former can be thrown off by counselling and alleviating the environmental conditions that may have contributed - the other cannot.0

Hey, I don't really understand that. I had counselling for years but it didn't help. Then they decided to section me, that didn't help. They put me on medication, that made me feel detached. Then after 19 years they concluded after doing a brain scan that I suffered brain damage. They asked if I had a scan done when I was taken into A&E 19 years ago. Told them no, after a couple of hours of them poking and prodding me and doing some fancy stitching to a head wound, I upped and left wearing nowt but a nightdress! They thought it fun to cut all my clothes up into little pieces! Now I'm back on medication & counselling as in their words, 'there isn't much we can do for you'!PennyForThem wrote: »Depression and clinical depression - one cannot be equated with the other.
