I have a lloyds credit card which has a couple of the balance transfers. The statement I receive lists the balance transfers but not when they expire.

On my November statement, it states that next months estimated interest is £0.00.

I have received my December statement and I have been charged interest as one of the balance transfers 0% offer has expired.

My November statement contained no warning that my 0% period was about to expire.

What are the rules regarding this is it up to the card holder to know when the balance transfer 0% period,or should credit card companies explicity state this?

Some, like Barclaycard, tell you when it expires: I'd have thought it would be noted somewhere? but regardless, the card holder should know.

They would have told you what the deal was when signed up for it.
