What insurance company will give a good cheap price.

I've just got a package through QDos.

It tends to be a fairly cheap package product anyway as long as you arent in any of the specialist subjects like Insurance, M&A etc but these dont tend to come up if you click the IT industry.

Do you actually want good coverage or just cheap as possible but with loopholes you can drive a bus through sideways? I saw a terrible product written by RSA that for £1m, £5m, £10m limits was about £180 -v- the £400 I currently pay or the £2,000 odd I normally get quoted and would have to pay id I hadnt gone drinking with the lead underwriter to get my discount.

Outside of that just contact a good broker and try a few of the direct players like Hiscox for a good quality product.

Do you have employees to need EL?

I know there is a contractors association that gives free PI/EL/PL insurance plus jury service detail. Obviously there is a membership fee but it seems comparible to moderate cover insurance just for the combined cover. Never checked the terms to see its quality.

Hi, I got mine through a company called Elliot Westland based in Houghton le Spring in Sunderland. I was with these guys for 20 years for motor insurance but now they have merged with another company they offer a full range of liability Insurances.

My package (similar to what you are looking for) was £1300 with my previous company and in October I got it through these guys for £440 all in. You can arrange over the phone and also pay over the phone. Saved me a huge bundle. Hope this helps.:D
