There's a website you may like if you live in London http://www.park-up.com/Parking.aspx allows you five free searches per day to use its interactive maps to show you where parking is available in London. Most usefully, it includes comprehensive prices per hour in any given area (inc. parking meter prices), as well as the maximum amount of time you'll be able to stay.

    Totally brilliant site, thanks Martin.

My wife's disabled, and this is especially useful in central London where the Blue Badge scheme doesn't apply.

  • Thanks Martin for pointing out this site. I have to take the car into Central London regularly and always find it a complete pain to find somewhere to park. This site not only lists all the places to park in a specified area, but also gives you prices and max stay times, so you can plan ahead. I have registered for mobile phone usage which costs a few pounds, but will save me a lot of hassle and tickests in the long run. Brilliant site!!!!:T

I think it could be quite successful if advertised more widely.
  • Thanks, it's a really useful site - saves you driving round completely aimlessly, you now know where to look!
  • I'll use it when i go the the sales in January!

    regards

Bearing in mind it was posted a decade ago, that's not an enormous surprise, is it?
