I've got a VW Polo and don't know what my tyre pressure is, in the petrol cap it says 2.1 to 2.5 depending on how many people are in it, my previous car just said 28.
2p off is still 2p off!

It means 2.1 - 2.5 bar. This measurement is on the air machines at petrol stations alongside the standard number 28psi etc. My car has a front of 2.0 bar and back of 2.2 bar if there is only front passenger. This will change to 2.2bar front and 2.5 bar back if there was a full load, bmw 318 coupe. 2.0 bar is about 29 psi. HTH.0

Cheers - guessed it must have been that, so if I've only got front passengers would about 30 psi suffice then? Used to have a small car in the past and I'm sure it was less then that but maybe I'm wrong2p off is still 2p off!0

Yeah 2.1 bar is about 30 Psi.0

2.1 Bar = 30.5 PSI
2.2 Bar = 31.9 PSI
2.3 Bar = 33.4 PSI
2.4 Bar = 34.8 PSI
2.5 Bar = 36.2 PSI0 -
And you should be checking them weekly, 2 psi low adds around 5% to your fuel bill, don't overinflate though as grip is reduced and tyre life much reduced.
Oh - you do check your oil and water every now and again don't you?Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0
