WANTED: Flight only to Denver Colorado / Chicago 1st Sept

My wife and I are planning on taking our 1 year old daughter to the US to see my wifes family for the first time and I have been trying to find some reasonable flight prices. At the moment the best price I have been able to find from my location is £528 incl taxes.

I live Edinburgh so Glasgow or Edinburgh departures preffered although if I find a flight for £350 each from another airport then I am flexible.

I want to fly out on 1st September 2005 for a duration of 28 / 30 days. Flying to Denver Colorado.

The flight I have found means I only need to change once at Chicago which is a bonus. Do any of the other money savers out there know of any cheap flights going to the US for a similar duration.

My other option is to get a flight to Chicago only and then buy seperate tickets once in the US as I actually want to go to Denver CO / Porland OR / San Jose CA I have found a ticket on priceline.com for about $500 pp (this is for internal US flights only)

Anyone offer any advice where else to check?

Thanks

Justin

Have a look at some of the USA Budget Airlines for possible routes from Chicago.

American airlines fly direct to Denver looks like about $200 pp return.

They also fly from Manchester to Chicago etc for about $1000 pp

    This site might help.
  • Thanks blindman.

Will try the US budget airline site to get my internal US flights.

In the end I have decided to travel with KLM after all and try to use some of my award miles to book a free return ticket. I also have a $750 travel voucher from the last time they delayed me over night so should be able to get me and the family to the US for only about £100 of my own money.

    regards

    Justin
