Islamic Funeral

It is possible for women to attend a muslim funeral - please make sure you cover your head out of respect to dead/graveyard, please be modest with your clothes, no short skirts/dresses.
Men usually bury the person and say prayers and stand for awhile.
Women usually attend after men as long as they are not wailing/crying as this is unacceptable at muslim funerals.
Hope this helps.

Did he have any local Muslim friends? Do you know which mosque he ever used to attend? Could be worth asking them.
My muslim colleague had never been to a funeral before her non-muslim grandfather-in-law died, and she wanted to go to support her DH.Signature removed for peace of mind0
