Looking at getting a new printer.
Needs to be wifi and less than £100.
Print quite a lot - mainly documents/letters and a few pictures.
Seem to have spent quite a bit on ink this year..

Apparently, once you go to Laser printer, you will never go back.
Anyway, i dont have one, but if you check out HOTUKDEALS, always seem to have deals on there with printers etc0 -
Depends what you want to use it for.
If it's for letters and draft quality B&W photos, go for a monochrome laser.
If it's colour text and high quality photographs, get an ink jet.0 -
We've just bought the Epson WorkForce WF-3520DWF.
WiFi/Ethernet/ADF/Double sided for £90. Compatible ink cartridges are cheap as chips .
I can't say what the quality of photo printing is like though as I've not tried that yet.0 -
The decision hinges on what quality pictures you want. My Brother HL-3040CN colour laser produces good quality photos which are somewhat "lacklustre" compared with the average inkjet output. Other than that, it's a competent, reliable (so far) printer
The HL-3040CN is slightly over your budget but I'm able to refill it with relatively cheap toner from http://www.refilltoner.com
In general, if you pay less for the printer, you'll pay more for the ink, which will cost you dearly in the long term. It's also worth noting the capacity of inkjet cartridges because it's been reduced, over the last decade, from around 25cc to around 5cc for many printers.
Note that many lasers, including the HL-3040CN, come with only enough ink to print 1000 pages. But the refill kit puts that up to about 5000.0 -
HP Officejet 8610 - £140 on ebuyer - then £40 cashback. You might find it cheaper elsewhere. Good printer - also I think if you register it you also get 3 year warranty.0

Went to look at some in PCWorld/Currys and the quality of some printers is shocking and flimsy.
Should also add that it would ideally need to be able to scan/copy - quality isnt important for scan/copy though .0 -
