Hi. I have sold my PS3 and plan to buy a streaming device to watch my favourite Sky Movies on NowTV. I'm looking for:
1. A device that allows me to "connect" my Android phone to stream my Youtube videos and playlist much like what i can do to the PS3
2. A device that has a browser
3. A device that has more streaming channels especially sports, Educational sites (such as NatGeo or Discovery cahnel), tech sites (such as CNET, etc.), entertainment channels, etc.
4. A device that has a microSD card slot so i can view my photos
5. A device that allows me to connect with my Android phone in order to stream my music from my phone
6. Which device has a very useful and innovative controller i.e. easy to use, a 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.
Please advice. Thanks.

umm a PS3!
I have several streamers , non of which can do what you want
1: sum micro 4 , will play any vid , audio track you can throw at it (and pictures), via wifi or cat , can read external drives and cards win 8.1 allows you to "play to" the machine
2: now tv box (you have one) with plex added , takes 10 mins to do , cost is £10 from now tv (don,t buy from a shop as they make you buy an "add on") , wifi from plex running on your computer , lots of tv channels etc now install PLEX http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/av-distribution/now-tv-10-minute-hack-10-wireless-plex-media-player.html
3: ez chrome stick , crap and buffery but allows you to mirror what is on your computer
4: raspberry PI , I am just building a portable unit PI cased and piggybacked to a 1t usb drive , with programmed remote , 2 conections to host TV (hdmi and usb) will result in the best (portable) media player available using xbmc0 -

what about the m 8 box? i've ordered one to try myself, runs xbmc:

Have one of those Android XBMC boxes. It's good streamers. But sometimes lags and freezes. And the thought of almost nil chance of updates (apart from new channels/streams) then that's just about it.
But what about a Google Chromecast?0 -
chromecast only has hdmi connection and no browser.
What about another tablet with hdmi socket, will have 3.5mm jack, micro sd card, plenty of browsers to choose from. Cnet and other streaming channels (nowtv, netflix and so on.)
Can stream from one tab to the other.
Or as said, get another ps3Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
