Electoral registration and credit rating

Hi there,
I'm hoping to be able to apply or a mortgage with the next couple of weeks. I have registered with the electoral office and have had a letter of confirmation to say I was added to the register on the 1st December. However, on carrying out an experian credit check, it comes up saying I'm not on the register.
Does anyone know how long it will take for my registration to show up on credit searches, as I really am keen to get moving on some properties I have seen.
Many thanks in advance

I'm having this issue.
I registered on the electoral roll at my previous address but didn't check credit file, then at my current address in July.
I contacted the council because it's not on my records yet, and the agencies simply haven't bought the data yet!
That's funny, isn't it? Because they've failed to buy the data, it must mean their incorrect old data is correct.I can't add up.0 -
I'm having the same problem. I've been on the register since Dec 1st. Noddle has told me they update within 4 weeks but that I can email them the confirmation from the council to get it updated quicker. I might do that but it won't help much because the account I want searches experian and I've found they're unhelpful compared to noddle.0
