TnC chasing me.

Hi all,
I have recently had TnC debt collectors emailing me and sending me letters through the post.
A little background. I live in a private small block of flats, our building manager saw fit to invite Diamond Parking Control onto our land to police the car park, I suggested they should take our number plates rather than using these silly tags that we hang on our rear view mirrors. Low and behold human error occurred one morning after a night duty at work and I got a fine. I ignored Diamond and now have TnC threatening to take me to court.
Advice would be most welcome.
Thanks.

Oh sorry, I did actually contact Diamond once to appeal their ticket on the basis that the car park is private and I live there, but as expected they upheld the ticket.0

Did they supply you with a POPLA code with the rejection of your appeal? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
