  • There must be other types of transaction that gets classed as withdrawing cash then, because I know 100% fact that I have not withdrawn a large amount

Worthyou contacting the CC company and asking the simple question "Which transactions are incurring cash withdrawal interest?" Then you can avoid it happening again.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • A small update...

I have BT £1900 from Capital One to Barclaycard on a 6 month 0% offer.
I have also removed all payments that come from Capital One (paypal, iTunes, Amazon, Playstation account) so now it is not being used at-all.

When I originally started this thread, the situation for Capital One was:
    Current balance: £3285
Current minimum payment per month: £141
    Next months estimated interest: £91

Today I got my latest statement:
    Current balance: £1436
Current minimum payment per month: £94
    Next months estimated interest: £40

I get my Barclaycard statement in 3 days, then I will be able to see what the minimum payment is for that and adjust both accordingly to max the max I can towards clearing that damn Capital One balance!
