Challenging a PCN from Council

Please could someone advise, or point me in the right direction, if the wrong vehicle type being printed on my Council issued PCN invalidate it?
Ive been told by the Council it doesn't but not sure whether to believe them. Also the ticket was issued for my car being parked 'beyond the bay markings' (at the end of a single row) and was issued within a minute. My car was not obstructing any vehicle and there was lots of room for all cars to manoeuvre. Have I got solid reasons to challenge? Im so cross with myself as I never thought I'd receive a ticket for parking a the end of the row where there was tons of room for all cars to manoeuvre. I have taken photos of the area my car was parked as the lines marked in the carpark are worn and many arrows stipulating which way to go are not readable. I also purchased a ticket so can I challenge that £35, for early payment, does not justify the crime I committed. Thank you.

Your best bet is to go to pepipoo.com as they are the council/police ticket specialists. MSE deals primarily with parking on private land.
Before you post on the other site, scan everything that has been sent to you including anything left on the car, and read the information for new posters.
