HUKD website - Server not found

http://www.hotukdeals.com/ stopped working yesterday.

I thought it was a temporary problem, but it's the same today, and http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/http://www.hotukdeals.com/ shows that it's up and it's just me.

I was about to send a e-mail to my ISP (Plusnet), but tried using a VPN first - to no avail as well. So, it doesn't look like ISP's fault.

And, of course, I tried different browsers: FF, Chrome, IE.

Any ideas?

I'm with plusnet stopped for me too but since about 5-10mins it started working again.

I was just about to post this exact question!
I'm with plusnet, however hotukdeals works fine in IE, but page not found in chrome.

A few weeks ago I had similar problems across lots of sites, eg bbc will work on chrome but not IE.

Not a DNS problem as flushing the cache or using a diff dns didn't work.

Have you rebooted your router (assuming all the connections you have tried are through that)

Normally I switch off/on the 'Openreach' box. Tried this, and it didn't help.

However, I just rebooted the router, and this did fix everything.
How can a router filter websites?

Some routers have firewall facilities so can block sites but usually this is done manually, On Plusnet, I've had this since last night and rebooting the router hasn't helped. Different browser including IE doesn't help.
The Hotukdeals app was also not working on another device.

Doesn't work again - and rebooting the router doesn't help this time...:(

Me too on Plusnet fibre, started happening last night as well.
