    i too have tried without luck... shame they don't have a mirror site for emergency 0870 phone calls.

    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    I also cannot get onto Say no to 0870 at the moment. Any ideas/information as to what's happening?

    It would have been good if they'd put up a notice to say what was happening. My first thoughts were it had been sabotaged by those evil robbers that have us pay through the nose to make simple calls
