Advice required please, over the weekend i won a progressive jackpot off just over 8 grand at Lucky pants bingo and now have been told that my withdrawal of the 7940.00 i have made is null and void as i did not win the jackpot with real money but as a good will jesture was going to get offered £500 as compensation. the representative that contacted me about ths stated that in the terms and conditions area that any jackpot that is won with bonus money is null and void, myself and a few friends have gone through the terms and conditions and cannot find this anywhere!
5.10 Any winnings over £50 accrued by a player in a non funded state will become null and void and cannot be withdrawn, this applies to all games.
5.11 We reserve the right to decrease the relative contribution of bonus money to jackpot amounts by differentiating bonus money from real money wagering.
5.12 We use the words “free bingo” in the sense that you do not need to deposit money with us to purchase a bingo card and participate. Free Bingo is provided as an additional service specifically designed to enhance a player’s enjoyment of our site. The term ‘free bingo’ is defined as not having to pay for the card ticket price in the free bingo room. However, a player is responsible for the associated cost of using the Internet when participating. The Company reserves the right to remove or make amendments to the free bingo service at any time without prior notice.
5.13 You are only permitted to enter Free Bingo for your own personal entertainment and non−professional use. Any other use of the Free Bingo games is strictly prohibited. Constant use of the free bingo games (i.e. playing more than 3 hours or 120 games a day on average every week and staying in the free bingo rooms continuously) will be regarded as professional use.
5.14 Prebuy game cards will remain valid whether the associated account is open or closed and the financial value of the prebuy game cards will not be refunded under any circumstances.
By accepting the prize, winners are required to provide photos of themselves and a testimonial.
Prize will be sent to winning player upon confirmation of their details.
If a player does not confirm their details within 30 days following the end of the game, we reserve the right to declare the win null and void.
5.15 Unless otherwise stated all bingo bonuses carry 4x wagering conditions of the total amount (deposit + bonus). Bonus money can only be used to play on bingo games. Wagering requirements can only be met on bingo games. If you request a withdrawal prior to having reached the minimum wagering requirements, your bonus and winnings will be declared null and void. Please select the deposit bonus from the cashier when making your deposit.
5.15 states that all bingo bonuses carry 4 x wagering conditions to and that bonus money can only be used to play bingo games, and that wagering requirements can only be met on bingo games.
I have never won anything like this before and had spoken to the help line on three occasions sunday evening just to see that everything was ok for me to withdraw, i am completely shocked and upset about this and fell so mislead that i feel i need to make other people aware of this before they fall into the same trap that i have just landed in.
if anyone can help i would really appreciate it as i honestly don't know which way to turn.

Seems to be the first T&C you posted.
Although it must be disappointing thinking you won £8000 - cant argue with a goodwill gesture of £500, especially as it seems from the t&c's they are covered.0 -
That could very much be considered an unfair term though. As people playing with their own money could very realistically be playing a game that they can never win.
Especially if new players can't win more than £50.
Also odd to have a limit of £50 and then have a good will gesture of £500? Sounds like another madbid model to tbh0 -

If the player was playing with their own money they could win, its only with free money they cant.
I think they are pretty standard terms on most gaming sites0 -
I'd say the £500 was a very good offer

Look at it as £500 won (which it is) than £8k lost (which it isn't, as the T&Cs cover it).Thinking critically since 1996....0

I think you have mis read the op somewhere, the op is playing with free money not his own. The T&C's have it covered. That could very much be considered an unfair term though. As people playing with their own money could very realistically be playing a game that they can never win.

However, it's a pretty crappy deal for those playing both with real and promotional money -
If you're playing with promotional funds and cannot win, that's a bit snide
If you're playing with real money, the odds of winning are diluted by people who cannot win the progressive jackpot you've paid for.0 -
Seems to be a bit of a lotteryOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
