Air Passenger Duty - US Airways

I booked my flights for Orlando a few months ago with US Airways. I fly in June. Does anyone know if US Airways are refunding the Air Passenger Duty which is being abolished for kids? I can't find any details on their website.

thanks in advance,

    thanks in advance,

Hardly surprising giving how recent the announcement was, and AFAIK the industry had no prior warning of the changes.
I think your question should be How and When rather than If. Ring them up and ask?

from the info on this site

The Government revealed it would scrap Air Passenger Duty (APD) for children under 12 travelling on economy flights from 1 May next year. This will apply to all future bookings, while airlines that have already sold tickets with the charge included must refund these.

US Airways is part of American Airlines these days so the policy is likely to be the same.
