Aldi 32GB Micro SDHC Memory Card £12-99

Medion do not make memory, they are simply bought in bulk and branded like other makes e.g. Integral, Kingston, Transend, SanDisk etc. which come from the same manufacturing plant.
Only an idiot would pay an extra £5 to see the word "Medion" screen printed onto an identical spec memory card, but if the cap fits!
I have used MyMemory many times over the years and never ever had a problem but you can pay more for the same thing if you want.
What problems have there been with MyMemory? I've been buying stuff fro there for years and not had any problems.
If all these cards are bought in bulk and then branded, why do the "major" brands cost so much more? Speed? reliable quality control?

Even if they do come from the same plant, they would still have to be made to the brand owner's spec, which may be different from a generic product. On the other hand, some of the generic stuff make be just be surplus, or older technology. It's a bit hit and miss. One "brand x" card may be great while another with the same "brand x" name may be rubbish0
